Dunsborough has two trail networks that interconnect - the Country Club and Meelup trails which run adjacent. The trail network has a mix of technical single track, flow and jump lines that are suitable for beginners through to advanced riders. Dunsboroughs trails are also renowned for WA’s pea-gravel surface, some with tight corners, others winding through the various native trees and the iconic “Fireys Descent” that has stunning ocean views.

The event village will be based at the Dunsborough Country Club at the base of the small hill. The network has cleverly intertwined the trails around the country club's golf course to maximize use of the elevation available winding between the golf course. Dunsborough has a small pump track and dirt jump space near the country club rooms, which also has toilets, showers and will be open to grab a beverage / bite to eat from as well.

Dunsborough Country Club trails are operated by the Dunsborough District Country Club and the Meelup Trails adjacent to the country club are managed by Cape Mountain Bikers Mountain Bike Club and is a great little spot in a beautiful part of our Southwest less than 500 m from the beach!

The Wooditjup Trails (formerly known as Compartment 10) are located in the Wooditjup National Park which was renamed to reflect the area’s significance to the Wadandi people. There are just over 10 km of manicured flow trails with a few tech spots and fun features around the network. Suitable for beginner to advanced riders, there’s something for everyone!

The Creek Trails (formerly known as South Carters) is a local favourite spot, kept hidden for years, these are now officially available to the public to ride. The majority of the trails are blue classification with a couple of challenging black trails with rock gardens. The Creek Trails are situated in picturesque natural bushland, dotted with intermittent granite outcrops and plunging creek lines and are a real treat for the intermediate to advanced rider.

The event village will be set up at the TrailHead of the Wooditjup trails. The trails are managed by the Margaret River Off Road Cycling Association (MRORCA) and is in a beautiful spot just a few km from Margaret Rivers townsite and main street.

Pemberton is a stunningly beautiful town surrounded by spectacular Karri forests and farm land. There is approximately 30 kilometers of sweet single track and machine built trails plus a jump and pump track. Pemberton trails are quite different to many other trail locations in WA with smooth trails and very little pea gravel!

The event village will be set-up at the Pemberton Pool at the base of the trail network and near the jumps and pump track. If it’s a warm day, bring your swimmers for a dip in the afternoon! Please note swimming at the pool is at your own risk, there are no duty lifeguards.

Pemberton Cycling Association who maintain the trail network have been doing some great trail fairy work over the last month and adding more signage. The trails should be running smooth and in good condition in time for the Roadshow.

Tank 7 Mountain Bike Park is one of WA’s newest additions to the growing network of Trails within the state with some of the best trails in WA. The trails are a variety of cross country flow to All Mountain technical gravity trails. The trails at Nannup have been built to West Australian and international standards and would be considered to be harder than some other commonly accessed trail networks.

The location is suitable for beginner through to expert riders with newer and less experienced riders being able to take green trails from the shuttle locations down. Riders are able to use pedal power, but the climbs are a little more challenging than most other networks in WA. Advanced riders have several double black diamond trails to shred with gap jumps up to 12 m wide.

Easy Tiger flow jump trail at Tank 7 is also getting a refresh over the coming weeks by Woodlands Trails and should be running mint in time for the Sundowner shuttles. Please download the Experience Nannup App for your mobile phone before visiting and for further information about the Nannup trails.

Linga Longa Bike Park is currently Western Australia’s only private mountain bike park. Situated in the heart of Balingup on the beautiful Linga Longa Estate the trails are an absolute treat for West Australians and visitors. The park is only open for private events and a few times a year for public gravity days operated by Linga Longa Mountain Bike Club. Linga Longa is not only a Bike Park but also a popular venue for weddings and an active tree plantation. This year the park has undergone a makeover due to harvesting of the blue gum trees on the property.

Woodlands Trails has been working hard with the owners to rebuild some trails and spruce up others. One of the top favourites “Apple Crumble” and in some riders eyes one of “the funnest green” trail in WA now extends to the top of the hill creating a full green top to bottom run for beginner riders. Brymans Blues has also had a rebuild with new sweeping berms, eliminating those much disliked flat corners. There has also been a realignment and spruce up of the new trail 1DSL.

The old favourite black & double black diamond trails Boxers, Huggies, Edge, Tunnel Vision, Rake n Ride, DDM and Rocket Rock should all be running as usual. Due to some weather challenges there have been some delays with harvesting meaning some trails may not be rebuilt in time for the Roadshow. Affected trails may include Little Miss, Mr Enduro and Valley of Dreams. We are keeping our fingers crossed and assure you the open trails will be well worth the visit!

The trails at Linga Longa have typically been known as some of the harder trails in WA with the park having mostly black and double black diamond trails when it first opened. In recent years the park has seen the addition of an awesome skills park with progression drops, jumps, log overs and a small section of pump track as well as a green trail. The park is suitable for all skilled riders and also has some adaptive friendly trails.

Linga Longa Mountain Bike Club operates all riding activities at the bike park and is an AusCycling club. A requirement for riding at the park is to have an active AusCycling membership. Unfortunately other insurance forms such as West Cycle are do not meet insurance requirements to ride st the park. A lifestyle or race membership is sufficient for access to ride at the park.

A full face helmet is also required to ride at the park, for some private events open face helmets are allowed on blue and green trails only. We are confirming with the club and park if this will apply to the Roadshow and will keep you updated! We’re excited that the Roadshow is going to be one of the first opportunities for the new trails to be ridden and can’t wait to see all the big grins coming down the hill.
